P1 / Consulting
Most drone "programs" are a pilot and a checklist. We help operators and agencies build the documented program that regulators — and serious clients — increasingly expect. Start with a consultation.
Part 108 is the FAA's forthcoming rule for routine Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations. It was proposed in August 2025 and a final rule is expected around 2026 — it is not law yet. The shift it signals is the important part: responsibility moves from the individual pilot to the organization, which must demonstrate trained personnel, documented risk controls, and a real operations manual. Operators who build that foundation now will be ready when the rule lands instead of scrambling after it.
This isn't a downloaded template with your name dropped in. UUAS is led by Rory Johnson — an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot in Command, a Master of Science in Aviation candidate at MTSU concentrating in Aviation Safety and Security Management, and a UAS Team Lead Safety Officer with the State Defense Force Foundation. We write the safety case from the inside, because we run one.
