Plenty of people pass the Part 107 exam and call themselves a drone pilot. We run actual missions under a documented Safety Management System — planned, flown, and reviewed by a graduate-level aviation safety professional, Remote Pilot in Command, and SDFF UAS team safety officer — including multi-agency field work like the Fall Creek Falls operation. For commercial and government work, demonstrated experience and an SMS are frequently hard requirements — and they're why the flight over your property or your site isn't your liability.
